The Artifact Preservation and Identification Day on November 3, 2007 was a howling success! 10:00 am was the official opening time and by 9:30 am several people were patiently awaiting the opening of the doors. The stream of people into the Moose Lodge on Wiscon Rd was continual. We were actually overwhelmed by 11:00 am and knew we did not have enough experts on hand to effectively handle the crowd. Several people left disappointed because their items had not been looked at and for that we humbly appologise and hope you will give us another chance at our next Artifact Event.
There were about 200-300 participants with artifacts from as far away as Mexico and many interesting Hernando County finds.
